Apple Plantation Project

Promotion of low chilling apple plantation in North Eastern Region of India. * A total of Rs. 1,91,700.00 was received vide letter No. NER/NEC/ lV/RS-NRIV-84/431, dated 16th February, 2021 for implementation. * A total of 14 acres of apple orchard was sanctioned, which benefitted 19 families. * The fund has been utilised as per the allocation given in the above table. * The progress report, Utilisation certificated and CA Audited Statement has been submitted on 6th June, 2021. * The original document of progress report, Utilisation certificated and CA Audited Statement has been sent by courier service.

Biodiversity Workshop

The workshop was conducted on 28th July, 2017. About 120 participants including representative of 15 BMCs. NGOs and officials from Department of Agriculture, Department of Horticulture and Department of Environment and Forest, Government of Arunachal Pradesh were attended.

Self Help Group

In collaboration with G.B. Pant Institute of Himalayan Environment and Development, NE Unit, Itanagar, on 3rd Oct, 2019, thirty five number of piglets and feeds for two months were distributed to four SHGs (Kabyung Hembyong SHG, Hong Nichii; Hellyang Henda SHG, Hong Nitii; Hembyung-Kabyung SHG, Hija and Lyambee SHG. Lempia villages). ​ ​Five more SHGs have been constituted in Apatani Plateau. Out of that, four SHGs (Kabyung Hembyong SHG, Hong Nichii; Hellyang Henda SHG, Hong Nitii, Hembyung-Kabyung SHG, Hija and Lyambee SHG, Lempia villages) has been constituted for piggery activity while one (Hong Tailoring SHG, Hong Nichii and Hong Nitii villages) is for promotion of tailoring activity under the GOI-UNDP CCF-II project.
